Torun has assumed the honorary patronage over the 2nd BE-OPTICAL School

We are pleased to announce that Michal Zaleski – the Mayor of the City of Torun has assumed the honorary patronage over the 2nd BE-OPTICAL School ‘High-resolution Optical Imaging, Tissue Optics and Data Analysis’ that will take place in Torun on May 2-5, 2017. The conference is organized by the Institute of Physics of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun in cooperation with SPIE Student Chapter at NCU and the Aleksander Jablonski Foundation. The meeting is mainly directed to PhD students, and it will cover the courses on optical imaging, tissue optics and statistical tools as well as training sessions on scientific writing and ethical issues in clinical studies. The conference has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Programme for research, technological development and demonstration (grant #675512), and it has been supported also by the SPIE and the City of Torun.
